Favorite places to visit

I have done some nice traveling through the late 90's to 2000.
A couple of favorite places to visit was the America's Southwest and the island of Aruba.

Southwest: The desert, the mountain scenery and the cultural of the southwest attracted me out here. Sunset is a perfect time in the southwest. The mountain turns, copper, lilac or purple. It is a great thing to witness. The desert has beauty as well. There are desert flowers, clay color sand and other more. Some people think it looks brown and ugly. You have to search a little more.

Aruba: Aruba is known for it's crystal blue waters, white sandy beaches, the middle is a desert island with cactus and good wind surfing on the one side. Aruba only gets an average of 20" of rain. The beaches are white and beautiful. The water is clear, perfect for snorkeling and diving. Visibility is good too as long as the winds are not too strong. Aruba is very windy. Great for windsurfing on the one side. The people are very friendly and speak 4 languages. Their hospitality industry is their number one industry. Aruba is worth a visit. #1 in my book.
